[Environmental Policy]
<Basic principle>
Shinko MechatroTech Co.,Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as Shinko) recognizes deeply that the preservation of global environment is the important theme common for the human being, sincerely desires to remain this beautiful Earth until posterity and acts to aim for the harmony and coexistence for global environment in all kind of business activities.
<Activity principle>
1. Shinko grasps precisely the impact toward the environment generated by business activities through development and manufacturing of the main products such as information terminal equipments, amusement-related equipments etc. and generated also by the products and services, determines the environmental objectives, targets and environmental management system under the practicable range technically and economically and promotes the environmental preservation activities together with all employees for them and for the organization.
2. Shinko periodically reviews the environmental objectives, targets and environmental
management system by means of internal environmental audit and managementreview, implements the continual improvement and makes every efforts for the preservation of pollution.
3. Shinko complies with laws related to environment, ordinance and other accepted requirements by his decision with regard to environmental aspects, determine the voluntary standards and make every effort to perform further environmental preservation activities.
4. Shinko understands the common environmental theme in the world such as the item giving significant impact on the environment in his business activities, global warming prevention as the important issue and executes the following articles as main activity item.
1) Reduction of the consumption energy for global warming prevention.
2) Control of waste, resource recovery and the effective use of resource for recycling
and saving of the resource.
3) Reduction by converting the substances, which have an impact on the environment such as hazardous substances, into alternative substances technically and economically as much as possible.
4) During the stage of planning and development for the products, the environmental impact assessment is to be implemented and manufacturing of the environment-friendly products, especially for the followings is to be considered.
a) Energy-savings, the simplicity of separation and recycling.
b) Control of the composition of chemical substances which have an impact on the
environment.
c) Environmental safety such as reduction of the noise and the vibration and so on and weight reduction.
5. Shinko recognizes this environmental policy, maintain the internal rules and so on in order to operate the environmental management system efficiently and make known to everybody by executing education for environment and public relations toward all employees and every peoples working for the organization.
6. Based upon the external request, this environmental policy is announced officially.
